John sat at a table in the bronze and looked around. He was trying to figure out why he chose such a place full of people to talk about not killing humans to a newborn. John took a sip of his drink that he only bought to look normal while he waited for dawn.

Dawn was supposed to meet with John tonight. She knew this wasn’t a date. He was only there to help her deal with the changes but still she had taken the time to get ready and make sure she look hot. Not cute. She had choose a short leather shirt that she had brough on a limb a while back. She added a white tank top and a leather jacket. Soon enough she was ready and left for the Bronze. She walked in and saw John right away. “hey there.” She said as she sat down with him.

John smiled as dawn sat down. He couldn't help but notice how hot she looked but passed that idea out of his head he was there to help her not pick up a date. John nodded then took a quick glance around.
"Hey how are you doing so far?.. Now really quick i jsut wanna say that this is the first time I've found someone like me and had to talk to them about staying of off you know what..so im kinda gonna need you to ask questions..like what you want to know just to get kinda of an idea how to do this."

Dawn smiled at John. “You’ve never meet another vamp before?” She asked him. She had some trouble believing such a thing. But then again she was the sister of the slayer so ever since for ever she had been close to vampires. And well now she was a bit closer then before.
“Well to start with…what do you eat?” She asked him. Angel had brought her some blood but he had’t let her know where it came from and she hadn’t asked. “have you ever tasted human blood before?” She whispered to him leaning over the table.

John smiled as she asked him if he had met other vampires.
"No I've met other vampires alot of them actually just not any like us souless and good."
Johns smile faded as she asked him his question, his eyes went from her face to the table. Johns face took on a look of pain and disgust.
" Ever since my second day in sunnydale ive been drinking Pigs blood and other animal blood that i get through Wolfram and hart...I have tasted human blood even though it made me feel disgusted in myself i drank human blood until i moved to sunnydale. I mainly drank the blood of those i thought weren't worthy of living murderers rapists and other criminals.

Johns smile faded as she asked him his question, his eyes went from her face to the table. Johns face took on a look of pain and disgust.
She felt like an idiot when she saw him smile and explained what he meant. Of course it was obvious what he had meant. He was not a new vampire like herself he had probably meet tons of vampires over the years. She wondered how old he actually was. She wasn’t even sure if she wanted to find out either.
He said soulless and good. For some reason she didn’t felt as if those words belonged in the same sentence. It was all so strange. Spike had been good while he had his chip. It was possible yet she still felt the hunger for human blood. She didn’t want to but it was too strong.
She nodded at him. “I’m sorry if the memory was painful.” She told him. “how do you deal with the craving? Don’t you crave human blood?” she wondered.

John nodded as she apoligized then nodded again when she asked if he still has cravings.
"Yeah i have them alot most of the time which is why i didnt fight in the battle with the first. I didn't know if i would be able to control myself and i figured that the last thing your sister needed was someone on her own side loosing it and attacking them. It really makes falling in love impossible."

She looked at him. “falling in love with a human is mostly impossible.” She corrected him. “But it can be done just think about Buffy and well spike and Angel.” She told him. Hell once she had even had feelings for Spike but this was all gone now. “Ever felt for a human John?” she asked him. She had heard about the girl Thess. Yet she didn’t know what was this all about.

Those words sent thoughts racing through johns head. If that was true than that would mean he was only too weak to be with Thess. John looked down as he muttered.
"Guess I'm just too weak."
He quickly looked up and continued the conversation.
"Yeah i fell in love with this girl Theresa but like i said well for me at least. it was hard the whole time i was around her the scent of her blood in her veins just made me thirsty in the end I figured it was too dangerous for me to be around her. She found someone else too."
John said the last line with a bit of regret in his voice. If he hadn't been so weak if he could just control his thirst he wouldnt be al one right now.

Dawn moved her hand over the table until she was touching John’s. “you are not too weak John!” She told him. “maybe angel and Spike manage to do it but looked out that turned out.” She sighed. “Love is hard whether your are human or not.” She whispered.
“maybe she simply just wasn’t the one.” She told him. Dawn still believed in true loved. Like Romeo and Juliet or more recently Edward and Bella. She believed that when you meet the right person for you then everything was possible. Dawn still lived in a fairy tale world.

John smiled as dawn told him he wasn't weak. Maybe he wasn't maybe he was only time would tell.
"Thank you dawn you saying the makes me feel really good right now. Especially after abandoning everyone in the fight with the first."
John looked around and shook his head.
"I'm not the best person at picking inconspicuous places it seems"
John said trying to change he subject.

“Don’t worry about the fight with the first.” She said shaking her head. “I was not even really there myself.” The thing was that Dawn had been there but she hadn’t been sure what side she had wanted to join. So instead she had simply stood on the side line watching it all happened.
She laughed. “wanna get out of here? We could take a walk or something?” she told him.

John looked down then shook his head and put a big smile on his face. It was nice to meet a female that he could talk too withou having to fight the urge too rip there throats out.

She got up and walked out of the Bronze. She was glad to be out of here. She didn’t want to mention it to John but she felt like she was soffucating inside of there. There was too many humans around, too much temptation. As they walked outside she felt like she could talk more freely. “so tell me a bit about yourself.” She told him. She wanted to get to know him. The real him. The one he didn’t show to just anyone. She felt a connection to him, but that could clearly be because well both of them were vampires. “Where do you live right now?” she wanted to know.

John followed dawn out of the bronze then walked beside her. For the first time in awhile he felt in control walking with her obviously becasue she was a vampire but it still felt nice. John smiled as she asked her question an shrugged.
"Nowhere really i used to have this wicked nice apartment up at wolf towers but i haven't been back there since i left so i doubt its still mine. So now i pretty much sleep whenever crypts abandoned houses. Wherever i can go to no look suspicious."
